About The Position

The CELIC Account Executive/Marketing Representative selects, contracts, and trains independent agencies, Insurance Marketing Organizations (IMOs), and funeral homes to support CELIC Final Expense life insurance production objectives and profitable operations. The role also assists distribution channels in managing and maintaining profitable books of business.

The representative works with appointed agents and funeral homes to achieve profitable production, calls on agents and funeral home directors to appoint and train them, and familiarizes them with CELIC Final Expense products. The role meets new and renewal premium objectives established by the Vice President of Sales and Marketing, establishes programs to grow profitable business, and recruits, develops, and manages relationships with independent agencies, IMOs, and funeral homes within CELIC’s operating territory.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, although sales or marketing work experience may be considered.
• A minimum of five years of experience in the life insurance or funeral home industry.
• Must be current and fully licensed to sell life insurance.
• Communication and interpersonal skills required.

• Professional designations such as CLU or ChFC, or currently pursuing one.

• Recruit new independent agencies, IMOs, and funeral homes in CELIC’s operating territory, and develop and manage those relationships.
