About The Position

The Account Executive - inside sales - is an on-site role that establishes a partnership with and ensures the long-term success of our customers while meeting sales targets. AEs sell our home décor products in person at trade shows and via phone/email contacts to our existing customer base and to potential new buyers. Working from our corporate office, the AE will call on our medium to large sized accounts (or as assigned), to identify sales opportunities and maximize sales in an assigned market/category. Extensive travel is required, to key accounts, trade shows, and showroom set-ups.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
  • 5-7+ years working with B2B sales
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, logistics, and product development
  • Experience working with Major Retail domestically and internationally (Canada)
  • Utilize data analytics tools and key performance indicators to monitor sales performance
  • Negotiated pricing, terms, and promotions with clients and monitored competitive pricing to maintain profitability while remaining competitive in the market
  • Participates in trade shows and industry events to network with potential clients
  • Prepared sales reports, reviews, and other paperwork to evaluate performance results periodically and make adjustments as needed.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite

Responsibilities

  • Proactively promote all Allstate Floral product, including—but not limited to—floral, greenery, accessories, seasonal, holiday, furniture, and merchandising solutions.
  • Serve as the customer's point of contact, working closely with the customer to gain insights into business pains and opportunities.
  • Regularly contact customers via phone/email with onsite visits, as needed, ensuring all Allstate Floral products, training and POP are current.
  • Develop new business through referrals, networking, and cold calling.
  • Maintain customer and sales activity data in Salesforce.com. (Beginning in 2019)
  • Attend trade shows to connect with new and existing customers and prospects.
  • Resolve customer issues and manage/escalate concerns as appropriate.
  • Review accounts regularly to identify additional sales opportunities and maximize sales in assigned markets/categories.
  • Interact and coordinate with the sales team and other staff members in other departments working on the same account.
  • Participate in showroom set-ups/resets with the team.
