About The Position

This role is for an Account Executive II, Retail Media, focusing on driving revenue growth within the Retail Media industry. The position involves managing a portfolio of existing clients, identifying industry trends, and developing new business opportunities. The target clients are medium-sized brands in Home, Apparel, and Beauty categories, with potential expansion to other consumer goods categories. The role requires building and maintaining relationships with brands, agencies, and retailers, as well as identifying and activating new brands on the platform. It involves consultative selling, utilizing tools like Salesforce CRM and LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and collaborating with internal stakeholders such as Account Strategy, Marketing, Legal, Technical, Campaign Managers, and Product Specialists. Experience in AdTech is a plus, and a proven track record in technology sales with complex, multi-product offerings is a must. The role may involve attending trade shows and in-person meetings, and requires comfort with video calls and being on camera.

Requirements

  • 3+ years selling
  • Retail media knowledge preferred

  • Creative, think outside the box in terms of how to engage brands and prospects.
  • Strategic, efficient, comfortable with AI solutions.
  • A hunter, a self-starter, and comfortable in market or on camera/zoom calls.
  • Expert in lead generation, hunting, finding key decision makers for your book of business and net new.
  • Consultative selling and closing skills.
  • Able to pitch multiple technology products and understand client goals.
  • Able to adapt your pitch to the client using multiple technology products.
  • Use discovery questions and have solid knowledge of Sales models.
  • Can accurately forecast and proactively manage your pipeline.
  • Strong focus on business goals and ability to achieve them, with coaching on sales skills from your Manager.
  • Good analytical skills and data-driven decision maker.
  • Proven track record of working in technology sales, complex and multi-product is a must.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with apparel and home goods brands is a plus but not required.
  • Understanding of the AdTech world is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Reach and exceed individual business development goals while contributing to overall team goals, strategy, and culture.
  • Provide world-class customer service to drive revenue growth with existing client portfolio.
  • Identify and understand trends within the Retail Media industry and apply learnings to generate incremental revenue opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships at all levels with brands, brand agencies & retailers.
  • Build prospect lists, find new contacts, send mass outreach, and expand active clients with relevant Retail Media products and offerings.
  • Develop a realistic pipeline and drive revenue on expanded retailers and product offerings.
  • Hunt new brands, find best contacts, and activate them in platform while keeping detailed process in mind—converting leads, creating opportunities in our CRM and moving them through the system to activate in platform.
  • Use consultative selling to grow investment from your existing book of business and activate net new brands to scale them quickly.
  • Use tools such as Salesforce CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Outreach (or similar tools) to increase volume and maximize your conversion rate.
  • Build great relationships with all the internal stakeholders that will operate with you: Account Strategy, Marketing, Legal, Technical, Campaign Managers, Product Specialists, and more.
  • Manage a high number of medium business prospects and active accounts at any given time for the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing.
  • Keep CRM and relevant trackers up to date.
  • Multitask to move towards external and internal timelines.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines, garner revenue, and exceed revenue goals.
  • Prioritize and work efficiently.
  • Achieve sales quotas and bring impactful focus to Criteo.
  • Formulate and sustain business proposals/plans using data and numbers.
  • Adapt pitch to the client using multiple technology products.
