About The Position

AI is rewriting the rules of legal practice. CV Labs, the product and growth studio within CanadaVisa, is building an AI-native law firm. Our ecosystem reaches 1.5 million visitors per month and includes Canada's largest immigration peer community. We are seeking closers who can convert warm, inbound demand, deliver an exceptional client experience, and help us rethink how a legal practice sells at scale. This role offers the opportunity to own a book of business, convert leads, and collaborate with product and engineering teams to automate workflows and leverage AI for efficiency. The goal is to fundamentally rethink legal services delivery and accessibility.

Requirements

  • Proven track record as a closer with experience carrying and beating a quota.
  • Persuasive, clear, and concise communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive on volume, run high-quality conversations efficiently, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Fast learner with killer instincts; immigration experience is a plus but not required.
  • Experience using AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, and related technologies.
  • Systems thinking approach, understanding funnels, conversion rates, and repeatable processes.
  • Startup mentality with a desire for ownership, speed, and impact.
  • Ability to thrive in an environment where processes are still being defined.

  • Outbound sales experience, including building and running outbound motions.

Responsibilities

  • Convert warm demand by working inbound leads across one or more practice areas, understanding prospect needs, positioning services, handling objections, and closing deals.
  • Own revenue targets and the autonomy to achieve them, focusing on velocity and client experience.
  • Deliver a standout client experience by being warm, responsive, and clear, ensuring fast response times.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to automate intake, qualification, and follow-up processes.
  • Utilize AI daily for prospect research, call preparation, follow-up, pipeline management, and task automation.
  • Codify best practices by building scripts, playbooks, and training materials for rapid onboarding of new hires.
