About The Position

Salesforce is seeking an outstanding seller to join their Federal team to support the Federal business by positioning and selling the Signature Success Plan to customers. The Signature Success AE will scope opportunities, position the value proposition for Signature with internal and external customers, and ensure that the most meaningful customers invest in the appropriate support offering and resource mix. This is a sales role where success is primarily measured by target attainment and year-over-year growth in Signature revenue.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen (U.S. born or naturalized) who does not hold dual citizenship and agrees to complete a U.S. federal government Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) for a Moderate Public Trust position.
  • This position requires a security clearance.
  • 10+ years of full cycle sales experience, at least 5 years in Enterprise Sales.
  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience required.
  • Salesforce or other CRM application experience.
  • Demonstrated track record of self-starting, risk-taking, and ability to influence without authority.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with a proven track record to grow and nurture relationships.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. English proficiency required.
  • Outstanding presentation skills are required including the ability to adapt style based on the audience and present complex ideas.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed targets for Signature Success plans across bookings, attach, upgrades, and conversions.
  • Build, manage and progress Signature Success pipeline in line with targets.
  • Daily update of the salesforce.com system with accurate customer and pipeline data.
  • Accurate weekly, monthly and quarterly forecasting and revenue delivery.
  • Provide sales/deal support on Signature opportunities including presenting tailored value propositions and providing pricing amongst other sales activities to drive ACV.
  • Build trusted relationships with relevant internal stakeholders to review territories and identify strategies and opportunities to sell and expand coverage of Signature Success plans.
  • Evangelize Signature Success internally and externally.
  • Act as subject matter expert for Success Cloud products.
  • Collaborate effectively with other parts of the organization, including: Account Team, Marketing, Sales Operations, Pricing Deal Desk, Legal, Product Management, and Delivery to address and resolve customer or sales issues.
