This role is for an Account Executive within Amazon Web Services (AWS), focusing on the US Worldwide Public Sector Federal Financial Market. The position involves driving revenue and customer engagements for a leader in the Cloud Computing business, specifically targeting Financial Services organizations that are adopting cloud computing. The Account Executive will be responsible for increasing awareness and adoption of AWS services by engaging with these organizations. The role requires a blend of sales experience, technical background, and business savvy to establish Amazon as a leading cloud platform provider. The individual will develop and manage a growing book of business, drive business and technical relationships, and close business by identifying key opportunities, markets, contract vehicles, and solutions. They will establish deep customer relationships through an understanding of the customer's mission and environment, interacting with CXO-level customers in top strategic accounts. The role also involves helping customers use AWS services to enable business transformation within their organizations and the broader financial services industries they regulate.
