About The Position

This position, within the Banking Sales organization, focuses on winning new strategic business by selling complex enterprise banking solutions and managed services to increase NCR's market share and profitability. The role targets Community Financial Institutions at senior and executive levels within a specific geographic territory, building relationships with both existing and prospective new customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, technical or business discipline strongly preferred
  • 3-5 years of related experience by selling Hardware-, Software- and Services-solutions in the financial industry
  • Proven success in solution sales environment, including achieving quota and other quantitative objectives
  • Demonstrated success in managing account relationships and developing new account opportunities
  • Excellent communication skills--oral, written and presentation
  • Strong teaming skills and demonstrated proactive leadership

Responsibilities

  • Sell banking solutions and managed services to increase NCR's market share and profitability
  • Target Community Financial Institutions at senior and executive levels in a geographic territory
  • Build relationships with existing and prospective new customers
  • Perform cold calling and generate customer interest to drive penetration of new accounts
  • Execute the sales process by moving new opportunities successfully through the funnel
  • Create account and opportunity plans, including sales strategies to drive the sales funnel and engagement for your territory
  • Participate in and help deliver monthly and quarterly customer business reviews
  • Secure budget funding for future initiatives at the client executive level
  • Define and create customer needs and NCR's ability to meet those needs through banking solutions
  • Serve as the liaison between the customer and the company for resolving conflicts and driving overall customer satisfaction
  • Create solution offers and proposal development to align with customer needs
  • Articulate solutions in terms of ROI and business case to the client
  • Collaborate with team members to learn and leverage collective knowledge
  • Utilize team members including pre-sale technical professionals, post-sale delivery professionals and management to achieve business objectives
