About The Position

RGS is looking for a Sales Account Executive for its Department of Defense Sales Team. The role will be responsible for Collaborating with our customers and technical delivery teams to grow existing revenues, as well as drive new revenues for RGS solutions.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience selling IT solutions to US Government.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience selling enterprise software solutions to Department of Defense customers. Preferred experience is around Kubernetes or DevSecOps environments but is not a requirement.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with a record of developing relationships at engineering, program management and executive levels.
  • Strong domain knowledge of the Department of Defense
  • Strong desire to work on a highly collaborative team

Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships within the Department of Defense
  • Responsible for Quarter over Quarter revenue growth.
  • Work closely with account solutions architects to identify key projects, programs, and offices to sell RGS solution stack.
  • Be the primary customer facing advocate who creates possibilities, solves problems, and establishes strategic relationships
  • Discover and analyze customers' business and technical problems and apply appropriate RGS solutions to address their needs
  • Provide trusted thought leadership both internally within RGS and with our customers
  • Responsible for Strategic Account Planning
  • Develop new solutions strategies within key accounts to establish proofs-of-concepts and pilot implementations
  • Responsible for entire sales process lifecycle: from demand generation to deal closure
  • Other duties as assigned
