About The Position

Genesys is seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Account Executive to join our Greenfield Sales team. In this role, you will focus on identifying, developing, and winning net-new business opportunities within untapped accounts. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional who thrives on prospecting, building relationships, and creating opportunities from the ground up. As a Greenfield Account Executive, you will play a critical role in expanding Genesys' market presence by engaging prospective customers across a variety of industries and leveraging our partner ecosystem to accelerate growth. You'll work closely with marketing, solution consultants, business development representatives, and channel partners to build a strong pipeline and drive new customer acquisition.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in B2B SaaS, cloud, or technology sales with a track record of generating and managing new business opportunities.
  • Strong prospecting and pipeline generation skills with a passion for hunting net-new business.
  • Experience using modern sales technologies, including Salesforce, Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, 6sense, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior-level and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and account planning skills with a data-driven approach to sales execution.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working cross-functionally to achieve shared business objectives.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling cloud-based software, customer experience (CX), contact center, or enterprise technology solutions.
  • Familiarity with MEDDPICC or other structured sales methodologies.
  • Experience developing and winning opportunities within enterprise or large Greenfield accounts.
  • Knowledge of industries such as Healthcare, Financial Services, Retail, Technology, or other enterprise verticals.

Responsibilities

  • Generate New Business Opportunities: Identify, research, and engage prospective customers through outbound prospecting activities, including calls, emails, social selling, and networking.
  • Utilize sales engagement and intent platforms such as Salesloft, 6sense, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to uncover and prioritize new opportunities.
  • Develop and execute strategic prospecting plans to penetrate target accounts and expand market reach.
  • Build and Manage Pipeline: Consistently create and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  • Advance opportunities through the sales cycle by engaging key stakeholders and aligning solutions to customer business objectives.
  • Monitor pipeline health and sales performance using Salesforce, Clari, and other sales tools.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with Marketing, Business Development Representatives, Solution Consultants, and Channel Partners to coordinate account strategies and campaigns.
  • Deliver compelling value propositions and tailored messaging aligned to customer needs.
  • Contribute market intelligence and customer feedback to support ongoing business growth.
  • Represent the Genesys Brand: Participate in industry events, webinars, customer meetings, and networking opportunities.
  • Build relationships with executive-level stakeholders and establish Genesys as a trusted advisor in the customer experience market.
