About The Position

The Account Director is responsible for the strategic leadership, operational oversight, and successful delivery of all contractual obligations for the Consolidated Facilities Management (CFM) Services contract covering multiple federal locations. This role ensures performance standards, client satisfaction, compliance, and financial results are achieved in alignment with the Master Consolidated Facilities Management Performance Work Statement and all relevant federal, state, and local regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of progressive experience in facilities management or related field, with at least 5 years in a senior management role overseeing large, multi-site contracts or government accounts.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of federal government contract requirements and performance-based service delivery.
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills.
  • Collaborative driven with client and team
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances and suitability determinations as specified.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing union labor and compliance with collective bargaining agreements preferred.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFM, PMP, LEED AP) are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall direction and management for all facilities management, operations and maintenance, elevator, and landscaping services across contract locations, ensuring compliance with the scope of work, contract requirements, and performance standards.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the client (GSA) and act as escalation point for any contractual or operational issues.
  • Oversee all key contract personnel, including Project Managers, Facility Managers, Supervisors, and technical staff, ensuring they meet qualifications, training, and certification requirements as specified in the contract
  • Ensure implementation and adherence to Quality Control Program (QCP) and facilitate audits and reviews per the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP).
  • Manage the performance of preventive and corrective maintenance activities, work orders, inspections, and scheduled services in GSA’s National Computerized Maintenance Management System (NCMMS).
  • Lead contract compliance practices, including safety, security, sustainability initiatives, and environmental management; drive adherence to all sustainability and reporting requirements.
  • Oversee contract financial management, budgeting, cost tracking, invoicing, and reporting.
  • Ensure all contract deliverables, reports, and documentation are prepared accurately and submitted on schedule.
  • Drive operational standardization throughout the portfolio.
  • Foster and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships, addressing issues proactively and ensuring high customer satisfaction.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all service lines, leveraging industry best practices.
  • Oversee compliance with all wage determinations, Service Contract Act/Davis-Bacon Act provisions, and labor relations requirements for covered employees.
