About The Position

Nucleus Global is seeking an experienced Account Director to join their Medical Affairs team. This role involves acting as a strategic partner to pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients, leading the development and delivery of Medical Affairs programs. Responsibilities include building client relationships, providing strategic counsel, and overseeing programs for scientific exchange, stakeholder engagement, medical education, advisory boards, congress activities, and other Medical Affairs objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong Medical Affairs background, enjoy leading teams, developing client partnerships, and identifying growth opportunities. This position is part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team focused on delivering high-quality programs and contributing to the growth of the Medical Affairs offering.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in life sciences (advanced degree, preferred).
  • Previous experience working in a medical communications environment, particularly across global Medical Affairs.
  • A strong strategic and leadership background.
  • A proven track record of exceptional staff, project and client management experience.
  • Excellent project management skills and be comfortable leading on client facing projects on dynamic accounts while meeting client and group objectives.
  • Line management experience.
  • Experience supporting products across pre-launch, launch, and lifecycle management.
  • Strong therapy area experience.
  • Excellent financial understanding with experience of budgeting and forecasting.
  • A flair for working well within a team with strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Provide strategic counsel to clients.

  • Lead teams and develop client partnerships.
  • Identify opportunities for growth.
  • Ensure the successful delivery of high-quality programs.
  • Contribute to the continued growth and success of the Medical Affairs offering.
