About The Position

The Account Coordinator is responsible for providing analytical support and insights to the Ice Cream CBD teams within Canada, specifically focusing on Sobeys and Metro customers and retailers. This role involves analyzing customer management information, proactively identifying opportunities or potential problems, and supporting the team in making data-driven decisions. Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree required

  • Detail-oriented, yet mastered the ability to prioritize and manage workload effectively
  • Strong analytical skills – can leverage technology & tools such as Excel, Pivot Tables, PowerPoint, Power BI or Data visualization to move from observation to insight.
  • Curious in nature and constantly seeking to learn
  • Works well in teams (as there is significant exposure to cross-functional teams)

Responsibilities

  • Draw observations and deliver trends & insights related to a Customer and category using diverse data sources including Customer Sales, AC Nielsen, Shipment information, competitive market activity, and internal planning sources.
  • Execute and maintain reports/systems for performance, planning, forecasting, and trends to aid in analyzing Unilever’s and our customers’ performance.
  • Leverage data and visualization tools to aid in decision making and to illustrate insights and recommendations from data when presented with a business problem.
  • Help maximize efficiencies in how and what data is used to deliver reporting and assist the team in making decisions.
  • Provide metrics around historical promotional activity.
  • Assist in the preparation of reporting for business reviews and Joint Business Planning for the Customer.
  • Deliver analytic insights that help the team decide optimal assortment recommendations for planograms, POS, and execution.
  • Create and manage Field priorities to drive action in store with the Retail Team.
  • Handle ad hoc analytic requests from different areas of the business including Brand and Trade.
  • Collaborate with teams within Unilever and the customer to share best practice analysis.
