About The Position

Merchology is a leading eCommerce retailer in B2B sales of co-branded merchandise including apparel, headwear, drinkware, gifts, and accessories. We are family-owned, people-powered, and we are adding to our #MerchTeam at our newly-renovated HQ in Plymouth, MN. Merchology is in search of an Account Coordinator to join our dynamic Sales team. As the initial point of contact for customer inquiries regarding premium branded products, this role is pivotal in ensuring a seamless sales process. Reporting directly to the Account Coordinator Supervisor, the Account Coordinator will play a crucial role in vetting potential buyers, ensuring they meet qualification criteria before passing leads to teammates for further engagement.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Experience in a customer service or sales role in retail, restaurant, sales, or an office environment
  • Friendly and team-oriented attitude to Win as a Team
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
  • Experience with a CRM (e.g., HubSpot)
  • Efficient, organized, customer-focused mindset and detail-oriented
  • Excellent communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Associates or Bachelors degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment interacting and collaborating with colleagues and customers via inbound and outbound calls, emails, and live chat
  • Communicate with customers to qualify leads, identify project details, and route leads throughout the sales team
  • Meet team KPIs related to customer engagements, customer contact timelines, sales conversion rate, and inbound and outbound calls
  • Work alongside the Account Representative team to hit monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals
  • Proactively and reactively reach out to customers to increase customer retention, engagement, and satisfaction
  • Have a collaborative and proactive demeanor to build relationships and trust with internal team members and customers
  • Develop a deep understanding of our products and services to provide knowledgeable support to customers
  • Complete in-person facility tours to local customers
  • Complete additional projects or duties as assigned
