About The Position

PHOENIX, founded in 1890 and headquartered in Aurora, IL, is a privately held, full-service manufacturing firm specializing in injection-molded closures serving a wide range of industries. Their mission is to provide the highest level of product quality and support to their customers. Due to continuous growth and an internal move, they are looking to strengthen their team with an Account Coordinator. This hybrid role involves building success through dependability, service, and action. Working with National Account Managers, the Account Coordinator will communicate customer needs across departments to ensure timely product delivery and drive overall customer satisfaction and success.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or Sales, particularly in the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Proactive approach to identifying opportunities for customer success and growth.
  • Proficient in Office 365.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience with DW/IQMS and Salesforce.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure exceptional service to B2B customers and proactively address updates, issues, or concerns.
  • Manage the order process from receipt and entry through changes or expediting requests, and communicate through shipment.
  • Maintain customer database, including setting up new customers, updating addresses and contacts, and noting customer requirements or instructions.
  • Develop an understanding of internal processes for scheduling, manufacturing, inventory, and shipping customer orders for key accounts.
  • Work with sales and scheduling to maintain inventory of customer stocks and current forecasts.
  • Provide closure recommendations and request samples through Salesforce.
  • Request quotes and manage pricing through the ERP system.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve client issues and participate in new/challenging customer projects.
  • Support National Account Managers by assisting with new business development and coordinating product conversions.
  • Manage other customer requests such as new part numbers, regulatory documentation, or specifications.
  • Provide back-up within the department.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Follow all Safety Rules, policies, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Follow all Food Safety related policies and procedures.
  • Provide backup for the Front Desk and Sample Room as needed.
