About The Position

The Account Coordinator supports the daily operational execution of IHT's agency account activity. This role owns the internal task and workflow layer that keeps accounts aligned, commitments tracked, and nothing falling through the cracks. The Account Coordinator works across Operations and Clinical teams to ensure account-related actions are completed on time, CRM records remain accurate, and issues are surfaced before they become service disruptions. When operationally necessary, this role engages directly with agency contacts on details such as visit frequency coordination, working in support of the Account Manager's capacity fill and growth activity.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in an operations, coordination, or administrative support role required; healthcare or home health experience a plus.
  • Experience with CRM platforms and task management tools required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple open tasks and competing priorities without losing accuracy.
  • Proactive problem identification and escalation instincts.
  • Comfortable working across internal teams with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate CRM records, account trackers, and open action items across assigned accounts.
  • Create and manage task workflows tied to account execution, following up internally until commitments are completed.
  • Monitor task completion timeliness and escalate overdue or at-risk items to the Operations Manager.
  • Handle selected external coordination including frequency approvals and related operational details, including direct agency contact when operationally necessary.
  • Track and communicate account-level activity to ensure IHT is meeting agency expectations.
  • Identify process gaps and recommend improvements that reduce friction in account execution.
  • Collaborate with AMs, Operations, and Clinical teams to ensure seamless account alignment.
  • Perform additional job‑related duties as assigned, consistent with the scope and responsibilities of this position.
