About The Position

Dandy is seeking to expand its New York City area team with Account Business Development Representatives (Account BDRs) to focus on outbound outreach to larger dental organizations and strategic accounts. The role involves identifying opportunities within Dental Service Organizations (DSOs) and multi-location dental groups, generating qualified meetings for the sales team through research and targeted outreach. This position is crucial for building the top of the sales funnel as the company scales its go-to-market organization. The BDR team operates in a hybrid environment, with in-office days on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and remote work on Mondays and Fridays. This role offers strong earning potential and career growth opportunities within a fast-paced team.

Requirements

  • 1–2+ years of professional sales experience in a high-growth environment
  • Experience with outbound prospecting or cold calling
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to research organizations and identify relevant decision makers
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and desire to learn new sales concepts
  • Ability to punch through ambiguity and ramp up quickly

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the initial point of contact through outbound outreach to prospective dental organizations and multi-location practices
  • Research target accounts to identify potential opportunities and relevant stakeholders
  • Utilize email, phone, LinkedIn, Apollo, Outreach, and other creative channels to reach prospective clients through outbound tactics
  • Develop thoughtful outreach strategies tailored to specific accounts and decision-makers
  • Track sales activity using Salesforce and other sales software tools
  • Overcome objections, communicate the Dandy value proposition, and move prospects forward in the sales process
  • Partner closely with Account Executives to support outreach within larger organizations
  • Work with sales leadership to meet key pipeline generation and activity targets
