About The Position

Daniels-Head Insurance Agency is seeking a motivated, team-oriented Account Associate who understands the importance of exceptional customer service. The Account Associate supports agency Account Executives in servicing professional liability insurance customers and prospects while following departmental goals and processes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Positive attitude.
• Desire to continually learn and willingness to be mentored.
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work autonomously and as a team member.
• Deadline- and detail-oriented.
• Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain a Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance license; the agency will pay for training and the license.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service.
• Respond to insurance inquiries, including policy changes and billing.
• Document and maintain customer files, including communications, action items, and follow-ups.
• Process customer renewals, proposals, policies, endorsements, certificates, invoices, information requests, and finance agreements.
• Learn and use the agency’s proprietary management system, software, and tools to complete tasks.
• Perform filing.
• Assist other team members as needed.
