About The Position
The position of Accompanist will begin in August 2026 and involves 32.5 hours per week, with 6.5 hours per day. The role is located at Sunrise Middle School and will follow the school calendar for 172 days per year. The Accompanist will play the piano and accompany vocal music classes during class periods for four hours daily. Availability is also required for accompanying music classes during evening engagements, programs, and contests.
Requirements
- Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent music reading and piano skills.
- Accepts responsibility and handles stress appropriately and professionally.
- Respects confidential information appropriately.
- Works well with children and adults.
Responsibilities
- Accompanies vocal music classes during class periods, four hours per day.
- Available to accompany music classes after hours for evening engagements, programs and contests.
