About The Position

The Accessibility Installation Technician installs and services accessibility solutions, including wheelchair ramps, stair lifts, and ceiling lifts, helping customers maintain independence and mobility. The technician picks up and loads a company vehicle at the company location each morning, then works independently or with a two-person team at job sites. Assignments may last from a few hours to a few days, with no overnight travel required. The role includes explaining projects to customers, answering questions, and entering work-order and inventory information into a system. Paid manufacturer training and hands-on learning are provided. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday overtime available. All tools are provided.

Requirements

• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Basic computer skills for work orders and inventory.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass a background check, drug test, and motor vehicle record check.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a company vehicle to job sites.
• Ability to lift 75 or more pounds and work overhead for short periods.
• Comfort working indoors and outdoors year-round.
• Ability to climb ladders, crouch, and occasionally work in confined spaces and at heights.

Nice To Haves

• Background in construction, carpentry, HVAC, solar, or other installation or service trades.

Responsibilities
