If so, this could be the next role for you! In the Access to Information (ATI) Administrative Support role, you will be responsible for organizing, coordinating, and reviewing highly sensitive information, ensuring it is preserved in a confidential and structured manner. A keen attention to detail and organizational precision is crucial. The role operates independently within the ATI framework, approved strategies, and initiatives, while providing quality assurance reviews and supporting the ATI System. Additionally, this position coordinates and supports the document management process for ATI general, personal, and routine requests, as well as federal and provincial consultations, to enhance compliance with the provincial ATI Act and Records Management regulations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Three years of related administrative experience
  • Directly related experience or education considered on the basis of: one year of experience for one year of education or one year of education for one year of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Budget forecasting and finance including reconciling expenditures monthly, reviewing anomalies and reporting for the FOIP office.
  • Assisting with request processing, ensuring requests are completed in a timely manner with accurate electronic request files.
  • Providing administrative information, advice and program interpretation to operations, policy and program expertise to Albertans, staff and program areas.
  • Gathering, researching, and referencing material for FOIP Advisors for FOIP Appeals and Mediation.
  • Identifying and resolving issues while improving the business processes used to manage administrative functions.
