About The Position

As an Access Screening professional in Longmont, Colorado, you will serve and safeguard clients in an aerospace and defense environment. In a front desk security role, you will greet visitors, manage access control and badge processes, monitor entry activity, and provide customer service. You will help maintain a professional, welcoming environment while communicating with employees and guests. The position is full-time and pays $27.36 per hour. The listed schedule is 11:00 PM–7:00 AM Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday.

Requirements

Possess an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen.
Licensing may be required prior to employment, depending on state and local laws and regulations.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.
CPR and First Aid certification.
Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and other authorized personnel at a front desk location.
Monitor facility access by verifying credentials, following site-specific entry procedures, and maintaining visitor records as required.
Receive and direct visitors, answer incoming calls, and communicate with appropriate personnel in a professional and courteous manner.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations by following established emergency response procedures.
Complete logs, reports, and other documentation accurately, and promptly report security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts.
