About The Position

This role is primarily remote; however, candidates must be based in or near Atlanta and able to attend in-person meetings at our Atlantic Station office approximately once every two weeks. Additional on-site presence may be required for key meetings, strategy sessions, design collaborations, and practice site visits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized college or university in Health Systems, Engineering, Healthcare/Business Administration or related field Required
  • 5 years progressively responsible professional work experience involving project management, quality, or process improvement, to include three (3) years in a healthcare environment Required

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree Preferred
  • Program management experience Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Drive Physician Enterprise performance through the leadership of complex, cross-functional initiatives focused on patient access, capacity management, and operational optimization.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to clinical, operational, and executive leadership to design, implement, and sustain scalable solutions that improve access to care, provider schedule utilization, and overall patient and provider experience.
  • This role is accountable for improving measurable access performance outcomes (e.g. schedule utilization, lead time, throughput) through workflow, system, and operational design.
  • The Access Optimization Consultant translates operational strategy into actionable workflows, system requirements, and governance aligned decisions, ensuring initiatives deliver sustained, enterprise-level impact.
