The Access Control Specialist (ACS) will be responsible for observing, inspecting, and reporting on construction site work to ensure the integrity of the technical and physical security of multiple sites. This role involves evaluating and developing physical, personnel, and technical security practices and procedures for various levels of defense-in-depth security postures. The ACS will produce weekly written reports or documents using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and tablet delivery systems to detail activities, processes, investigations, anomalies, deficiencies, incidents, and adherence to Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705 standards. The position requires identifying unauthorized materials through physical and personnel searches, as well as the use of technological tools. The ACS will evaluate methods used to place technical penetrations or unauthorized materials by utilizing surveillance techniques, observing, and reporting. A key aspect of this role is the fortitude to report suspicious behavior, security infractions, and correlations between site blueprints and ICD 705 standards to highlight anomalous behavior. Please note, this position will not sponsor a clearance or upgrade.
