About The Position

PacArctic, LLC is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Access Control/Security Specialist to support the FBI LAB in Quantico, VA. This role requires intimate knowledge of visitor procedures and a Top-Secret clearance. The Specialist will be responsible for managing access control databases, processing visitor requests, monitoring security systems, and performing escort duties. The position operates from 2pm to 10pm, Monday through Friday, and requires flexibility to work holidays and potentially shift schedules or report to alternate locations with short notice. A CI polygraph is also required.

Requirements

Possess final Top-Secret personnel security clearances.
Must be eligible for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) special access.
Bachelor’s degree in any field and three (3) years of security experience in relevant fields (industrial security, physical security, computer/network security) OR a minimum of five (5) years of experience in any security-related field.
Skilled in creating complex spreadsheets (e.g., Excel).
Skilled in preparing briefings (e.g., PowerPoint).
Proficient in Word and Adobe Acrobat.
Able to communicate clearly.
Able to provide security briefings and debriefings.
Able to provide comprehensive written communications.
Must perform all duties in an extremely professional, customer-service oriented manner.
Must possess a Top-Secret clearance. Do not apply if you do not possess a TS level clearance.
Must take and pass a CI polygraph.

Responsibilities

Use FBI access control databases, including Phoenix and SOPU Gatekeeper visitor database.
Conduct Scattered Castles and/or JPAS verifications as requested.
Process incoming Visitor Access Requests (VAR) and enter information into the appropriate database.
Coordinate VAR information with the appropriate FBI Security Division personnel.
Prepare electronic communications (ECs) in Sentinel as required.
Monitor CCTV video.
Conduct perimeter checks.
Assist with escort duties as needed.
Coordinate with Quantico Security Operations Center (QSOC) for emergency response and alarm activity.
Process FBI Limited Access Request (LAR) paperwork.
Issue badges and IDs in accordance with policy and utilize the badge system as directed.
Screen visitors with an X-ray machine and a metal detector.
Complete all trainings required/provided by the customer to ensure proper handling of equipment.
