Access Control Security Officer - Screener
About The Position
Securitas is hiring access control officers to conduct screening, including using metal detection equipment. The position requires standing for most of each shift. X-ray screening experience and/or certification is required. Security Officers help maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by monitoring premises and, as applicable, patrolling locations. They preserve order by enforcing site regulations and directives concerning personnel, visitors, and the area. They may also provide customer service and information to client employees and customers. Training is provided for candidates entering the security industry without prior experience. Requirements
- X-ray screening experience and/or certification is required.
- Ability to stand for the majority of each shift.
Nice To Haves
- Retail, food service, or hospitality industry background is described as a good fit, but is not required.
- No prior experience is necessary; training is provided.
