About The Position

The Access Control Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring premises and patrolling locations. The officer observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, safeguards client property and personnel, preserves order, and enforces site regulations and directives for personnel and visitors. Officers may also provide customer service and information to client employees and customers. No prior experience is necessary; training is provided. The role requires overnight or early-morning availability and weekend availability. Wage: $17.00 per hour.

Requirements

Must have overnight or early-morning availability.
Weekend availability is required.
Must be comfortable walking and patrolling dark areas.
Must be able to stand and walk for long periods; the work may also involve climbing stairs and walking on inclines or uneven terrain.
Must have excellent customer service skills.
Must pass a drug screen and background check.
Must meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
Frequent lifting or moving of up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting or moving of up to 25 pounds may be required.

Nice To Haves

Retail, food service, or hospitality industry background is considered a good fit; no experience is necessary.
