About The Position

As an Access Control Officer, you will be a field-based member of Sitemetric’s on-the-ground team, supporting smooth operations and workflows at customer construction sites. The role works closely with senior leadership and requires in-person work at one or more local Sitemetric jobsites; travel throughout the United States may be required. Field-based roles operate on shifts, and shift times may fluctuate or change with customer needs, jobsite requirements, and project schedules. This position requires flexibility in work hours and a valid, active Texas Guard Card (TOPS) when applying. The officer manages worker registration and badging, checks credentials, supports site access compliance, and oversees parking, visitors, and deliveries. The role also includes maintaining documentation and logs, troubleshooting technology, supporting customers and workers, and handling other access-control needs. It calls for professionalism, attention to detail, initiative, adaptability, and a willingness to go beyond assigned responsibilities to support customer experience and construction-site safety, security, and success.

Requirements

Valid and active Texas Guard Card (TOPS) required when applying.
Ability to obtain required licensing.
Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
At least 2 years of high-intensity customer service experience requiring professionalism under ongoing pressure and complexity.
Ability to quickly establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers and colleagues.
Detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize tasks and responsibilities in a dynamic work environment.
Technology-forward.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and SOPs in English.
Proficient spoken and written English communication.
Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to solve complex challenges within and outside assigned responsibilities.
Proactive approach to taking on additional responsibility to serve customers and Sitemetric team members.

Responsibilities

Proactively monitor and manage access-control compliance for everyone entering and leaving the site, working with the customer and Sitemetric team to understand and uphold site security requirements.
Ensure personnel entering the site have badges and are properly scanned to verify identity and maintain accurate worker headcount records for customers.
Provide parking passes to appropriate personnel and monitor compliance in designated parking areas.
Document visitors entering and leaving the site and receive deliveries, creating written records for the customer.
Support workers and customers with access control, worker registration and badging, technology troubleshooting, visitor and delivery logs, and parking management.
Assist with one-time and ongoing ad hoc access-control needs for customers.
Work directly with senior leadership and across the organization to support site operations.
