About The Position
The Access Control Apprentice/Locksmith Apprentice is a hands-on technical position at Flylock Security Solutions, supporting the growth of the company. The role suits a mechanically minded, IT-savvy individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team. The company is willing to train the right candidate. The apprentice provides customer service, communicates with clients to determine needed services, responds to general inquiries, receives instructions from management or clients, and performs small projects as directed. The role also involves completing and submitting paperwork accurately and on time, and preparing written reports of service calls and estimates for invoicing.
Requirements
- Clear and valid driver's license.
- Mechanically minded and IT-savvy.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and management.
- Ability to document services in writing for service calls and estimates.
- Strong work ethic.
- Desire to continually expand knowledge in the field.
- Ability to fluently understand, speak, and write English.
- Ability to push, pull, and lift at least 50 pounds.
- Ability to kneel, crouch, stoop, reach above and below the shoulders, and use hands and fingers to grasp, twist, and pull.
- Ability to climb a ladder and work above ground.
- Ability to withstand external weather conditions year-round.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of prior security solutions and/or locksmith experience preferred.
Responsibilities
