About The Position

The Accelerated Career Development Program (ACDP) is designed to develop future leaders within Vanguard's Sales organization. This program offers a unique opportunity to gain broad exposure to Vanguard's diverse business areas through rotational assignments. Participants will develop a comprehensive understanding of Vanguard's strategies, initiatives, and investment methodology, while honing leadership competencies and client service skills. The program emphasizes personal and professional development, networking, and data-driven decision-making. Upon successful completion of the program, participants will be well-positioned for long-term careers in sales and leadership roles at Vanguard.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Requires a regulatory license and/or registration (e.g. FINRA, state, SFC), to be determined by Compliance based on role-specific duties.

  • Experience in financial services or client services preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Complete company-wide rotations, demonstrating ability to assimilate, understand objectives, achieve goals, and take ownership of projects.
  • Develop a broad understanding of Vanguard Divisions, strategies, and initiatives.
  • Demonstrate accountability by accepting ownership throughout the problem resolution process.
  • Take ownership of personal and professional development through program participation, training, and maintaining a personal development plan.
  • Navigate the organization by building a network of business contacts.
  • Utilize tools to arrange, manipulate, and present data for business decision-making, making recommendations when appropriate.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Vanguard's investment methodology, policies, procedures, marketplace, and systems.
  • Participate in projects, collaborating with stakeholders to define scope, gather requirements, recommend and implement solutions, and manage business activities.
  • Demonstrate leadership competencies and strengths in rotational and programmatic experiences.
  • Provide high-quality service to client inquiries, offering accurate information promptly and utilizing CRM skills to build relationships.
  • Effectively position and cross-sell appropriate Vanguard products and services.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
