About The Position

The Accelerated Career Development Program (ACDP) is designed to develop future leaders within Vanguard's Sales division. This program offers a unique opportunity for high-potential individuals to gain broad exposure to Vanguard's businesses, strategies, and initiatives through a series of challenging rotational assignments. Participants will develop a deep understanding of Vanguard's investment methodology, policies, and systems, while honing their leadership competencies and client service skills. The program emphasizes personal and professional development, networking, and data-driven decision-making, preparing associates for impactful roles within the organization.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • This job requires a regulatory license and/or registration (e.g. FINRA, state, SFC). These will be determined by Compliance based on role-specific duties.

  • Experience in financial services or client services preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Complete company-wide rotations, demonstrating ability to assimilate, understand objectives, achieve rotation goals, and take ownership of projects.
  • Develop a broad understanding of Vanguard Divisions, strategies, and initiatives.
  • Demonstrate accountability for issues by accepting ownership throughout the problem resolution process.
  • Take ownership of personal and professional development through program meetings, projects, training, and maintaining a personal development plan.
  • Navigate the organization by building a network of business contacts to assist with tasks.
  • Utilize appropriate tools to arrange, manipulate, and present data for business decision-making, and make recommendations based on data.
  • Demonstrate proficiency and knowledge of Vanguard's investment methodology, policies, procedures, marketplace, and relevant systems.
  • Participate in projects, collaborating with stakeholders to define scope, gather requirements, recommend and implement solutions, and manage business activities for project delivery.
  • Demonstrate leadership competencies and strengths in rotational and programmatic experiences.
  • Provide high-quality service to client inquiries, offering thorough and accurate information in a timely manner.
  • Utilize CRM skills to build effective relationships, gain trust, and maintain respect.
  • Effectively position and cross-sell appropriate Vanguard products and services.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
