About The Position

The Department of Physiology and the Neuroscience and Mental Health Institute (NMHI) invite applications for a full-time, one-year renewable Academic Teaching Staff (ATS) position in Neuroscience, focused on the delivery of the NMHI Neuroscience program. This is a Term 12 position with an initial appointment of 12 months. The teaching load is commensurate with guidelines set out in the ATS agreement and will be equivalent to 6-credit courses per year. In addition to teaching responsibilities, the successful candidate will contribute to course coordination and curriculum development/revision. This may include the development of courses in areas such as developmental neuroscience, molecular neurobiology, and neuroscience-focused laboratory instruction.

Requirements

• Ph.D. degree in any discipline with a focus in Neuroscience
• Extensive experience/knowledge in the latest advancements in neuroscience research

Nice To Haves

• Relevant experience in teaching neuroscience
• Relevant experience in laboratory protocols and methodologies

Responsibilities
