Mercer University is searching for an Academic Support Specialist for the College of Health Professions on the Atlanta, Georgia campus. Under the direction of the Dean of the College of Health Professions and Program Director, the Academic Support Specialist is responsible for the Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) Program’s compliance with the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education’s (ACOTE) clerical support requirements in Standard A.2.8. The Academic Support Specialist provides the Program Director, Coordinator of Academic Fieldwork, and Doctoral Capstone Coordinator with academic support. Responsibilities include independently performing administrative tasks such as preparing and analyzing materials related to the Program's operations, generating invoices, and preparing budget-related documents, as well as maintaining accurate databases and serving as a liaison to internal and external constituents. Additional support is provided for accreditation-related activities for the OTD Program.
