The Upward Bound Project ACE (Achieving Academic and Career Excellence) program is designed to provide opportunities for fundamental support to participants in their preparation for college entrance. The goal is to increase the rate at which participants complete high school education and graduate from institutions of post-secondary (college, technical) education. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives on building relationships, engaging with students and families, and creating supportive pathways to success. We especially welcome candidates who are energized by helping others, connecting people to resources, and making a lasting difference in students' futures. The Coordinator is a 100% twelve-month position. The coordinator reports to the Manager of the Upward Bound Program (ACE) and is responsible for providing direct student services and support. This is a Contracts & Grants (C&G) funded position. Employment is subject to availability of funding and may cease at the time funding for this employment is depleted.
