Part Time Academic Success Coach Gear Up-Langston Middle Oberlin
About The Position
Works directly with students, providing academic tutorial assistance in support of the material taught in grade 6 and/or grade 7 and/or grade 8 mathematics and/or literacy (reading/writing) classes. Needs to become familiar with Tutor.com to further assist students. Training will be provided. Gear Up Tutor-Mentors need to have transportation to their assigned middle school(s). The hourly rate is up to $20/hour, inclusive of transportation costs. No additional payment will be made for mileage. This position is 100% grant funded. If hired, you must reside in the state of Ohio and be within commuting distance of this work location to respond to onsite work demands upon the employment start date and throughout the duration of your employment.

Responsibilities
- Providing one-to-one and/or small-group tutoring
- Completing all necessary records and paperwork accurately and according to stated deadlines
