The English Education Program within the Department of Arts & Humanities at Teachers College, Columbia University, is seeking a Part-Time Academic Secretary who will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the program, Program Director(s), faculty, and students. The Part-Time Academic Secretary will assist in managing a large assortment of program tasks, specifically related to the courses offered by the program and provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Program Director, faculty, and students. The incumbent will be responsible for coordinating course-related activities, assisting with academic and office processes, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of the program. The successful candidate will work a regular schedule of 20 hours per week, between 9am-5pm, Monday - Friday and may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement of up to one day/week (one five-hour remote shift) upon successful completion of the probationary period.
