About The Position

Eastpointe Community Schools is seeking a passionate Academic Paraprofessional to make a difference in students' lives, particularly in the area of student literacy. This role involves supporting grade-level content, assessment, technology, and student testing. The district is undergoing a rapid turnaround with a focus on increasing educational expectations, developing a culture of support, and nurturing students' academic, behavioral, and interpersonal needs. Eastpointe offers a collaborative environment with energetic teacher and staff teams, data analysis, academic coaching, and opportunities for professional learning. Requirements

  • Associate Degree or 60 hours, or passed the ETS Test
  • Successful experience working with students
  • Successful record of Organization, Communication, and Leadership
