About The Position
The Academic Lab Technician is responsible for maintaining laboratory equipment and safety requirements. The technician assists students and faculty with proper equipment use, demonstrates procedures, and monitors users to ensure equipment is operated safely and properly. This is a part-time, temporary position for 19 hours per week and is not eligible for benefits.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in a related field with at least twelve (12) hours in the major field of study, or a combination of education, training, and experience that equates to the required degree.
- One year of related experience.
- Licenses or certifications may be required depending on the area of assignment.
Nice To Haves
- Three or more years of related experience preferred.
