The academic interventionist serves students in a Title I Schoolwide program with targeted reasons for at-risk students for tiered support within the school's MTSS. This position will coordinate and provide strategic supplemental academic instruction to meet the individual needs of students. The interventionist will identify students needing supplemental interventions, collaborate with teachers, administration, and families, and plan and teach interventions based on student learning needs using research-based materials. Daily monitoring of student learning and use of multiple data points to guide instruction are key. The role ensures intervention sequences align with classroom instruction and building MTSS, documents interventions in Panorama, and participates in professional learning communities and ongoing professional development.
