Academic Intern (UNMTemps)
About The Position
The Academic Intern with the Center for High Tech Materials (CHTM) will assist Maya with non-hazardous cleanroom inventory duties. Work includes taking inventory, restocking and ordering supplies, maintaining the cleanroom store, and selling or dispensing cleanroom supplies to Nanofab and CHTM researchers. The position is temporary and part-time, based at the University of New Mexico’s Main Campus in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It is non-exempt, pays $16.88 per hour, and is not benefits eligible. Applicants must be at least 16 years old at hire; employees under 18 must be in the care of a parent or guardian. Employees working in patient-care or clinical areas must comply with the University’s influenza vaccination requirement.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old at the date of hire; employees under 18 must be in the care of a parent or guardian.
- Currently enrolled in high school, or obtained a high school diploma no more than 24 months before the hire date.
- Employees providing services or working in patient-care or clinical areas must comply with the University's influenza vaccination requirement.
