The University of Louisville School of Medicine's Division of Cardiovascular Medicine with UofL Health seeks a board-certified/eligible electrophysiologist to join its expanding program. The ideal candidate will be an academically oriented clinician who excels in both patient care and teaching of house staff and fellows with a strong interest in clinical or translational research. A competitive annual salary plus potential productivity bonus is offered in addition to a robust recruitment package. Requirements

  • Board-certified/eligible electrophysiologist
  • Academically oriented clinician
  • Medical degree from an accredited school of medicine
  • Board certification in cardiology
  • Eligibility for licensure in Kentucky
  • Qualify for a faculty position of Assistant Professor or higher
  • Epic EMR experience is preferred
  • Strong computer and keyboarding skills
  • Physician license for the state of Kentucky
  • ACLS/BLS Certification

Responsibilities

  • Clinical interests in consultative and outpatient EP care
  • Expertise in all aspects of clinical cardiac electrophysiology, including implantable devices, mapping, and complex ablations
  • Collaborative research with state-of-the-art facilities at the Institute of Molecular Cardiology
  • Establish an academic portfolio and an area of expertise
  • Fellow and resident education
