About The Position
The Academic Curriculum Specialist: Science (Grade 3 - Biology) works closely with the assistant superintendent and executive director of curriculum and instruction as part of the teaching and learning team to improve student achievement. The role leads district curriculum and instruction initiatives and district work with academic facilitators. It supports grade-appropriate assignments through High-Quality Instructional Materials (HQIM), equips teachers to adapt curriculum to individual student needs and deeply engage students in content, and cultivates the belief that all students can and will belong, learn, and succeed. The position is a 210-day contract with a $2,500 stipend. The listed start date is January 2027.
