The Academic Curriculum Editor collaborates with curriculum writers, subject matter experts, and instructional designers to strengthen the instructional quality and consistency of curriculum throughout the development process. This individual reviews curriculum for developmental appropriateness, clarity, continuity, progression of learning, and alignment across lessons, units, grade levels, and subject areas. The Academic Curriculum Editor ensures curriculum maintains a consistent voice, instructional language, terminology, formatting, educational philosophy, and progression of learning throughout the curriculum. This position also performs a developmental review for grammar, spelling, punctuation, readability, and organization while identifying opportunities to strengthen lesson flow and instructional effectiveness. Working collaboratively with the curriculum development team, the Academic Curriculum Editor helps produce cohesive, academically rigorous resources that equip students to understand God's Word, think biblically, and defend their faith.
