About The Position

The Academic Coaching Coordinator works under the general direction of the Senior Director for Student Support and supports college-level programs housed at UNLV’s Dr. William W. Sullivan Center for Academic Enrichment and Outreach (CAEO). The position serves academically at-risk and under-resourced students by providing required and permissible services intended to improve retention and graduation outcomes as they pursue undergraduate degrees at UNLV. The Coordinator provides college-level services, including academic advising and counseling, coaching, career exploration, and assistance with financial aid, and develops programming that supports participants’ college education and federally mandated program objectives.
