At College Living Experience (CLE), academic success is built through study sessions, conversations with professors, time-management planning, problem-solving challenges, and everyday moments where students learn to navigate college with greater confidence and independence. As an Academic Coach, you will help neurodiverse young adults discover how they learn best and develop the skills needed to succeed in college and beyond. You will work alongside students to strengthen executive functioning, organization, study habits, self-advocacy, and academic confidence while helping them navigate the challenges of higher education. We are looking for someone who is patient, creative, and passionate about helping students reach their potential. Candidates often come from backgrounds in education, tutoring, special education, academic coaching, psychology, student support services, learning assistance, or humanities instruction. We especially welcome candidates with experience teaching or tutoring writing, English, literature, history, communications, philosophy, political science, or related fields. In this role, you will provide individualized academic coaching and tutoring, help students develop effective study strategies, manage assignments and deadlines, communicate with professors, prepare for exams, and build the skills needed to become more independent learners. You will collaborate closely with our social, career, and independent living teams to ensure students receive holistic support across all areas of their development. The ideal candidate believes that success looks different for every student and is excited to help neurodiverse young adults build confidence, overcome challenges, achieve their educational goals, and create a strong foundation for lifelong learning and independence.
