About The Position

ASU’s Mary Lou Fulton College for Teaching and Learning Innovation (MLFC) and the Division for Advancing Education Policy, Practice and Leadership invites applications to establish a pool for Academic Associates in the Leadership and Innovation EdD Program for the 2026-2027 academic year. Successful candidates will co-teach in-person or online courses, prepare course materials, evaluate student work, and assist students. The Leadership and Innovation EdD program welcomes applications from candidates who align with ASU’s charter and are committed to inclusive excellence and student success. The successful candidate will also advance ASU’s Design Aspirations through teaching and service. Successful candidates will demonstrate throughout their materials how their work will contribute to the fulfillment of this charter. Academic Associate positions are one semester (7.5 or 15 weeks), non-benefits-eligible, and fixed-term appointments with no tenure implications, not to exceed .40 FTE. The number of courses is contingent upon needs, funding, and sufficient enrollment. Individuals hired as Academic Associates may not hold multiple, non-benefits-eligible appointments at Arizona State University. Salary is based upon qualifications and assigned teaching load. This recruitment is to establish a part-time hiring pool for temporary and semester appointments. Applications are considered for the current year only. Requirements

Doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Education or a related field such as Higher Education, Educational Leadership, Curriculum & Instruction, Educational Technology, Educational Research at time of appointment
At least one semester teaching or other pedagogical experience in any educational or related field
