About The Position

This role involves acting as a liaison with the Port Authority and ABF, managing a petty cash fund, and performing preventative maintenance, repairs, modifications, and other line maintenance of aircraft, components, and related equipment. The position requires adherence to specified manuals, procedures, and FAA regulations. Additionally, the role includes performing all lead functions, maintaining work schedules, overseeing shift rotations, and scheduling casual mechanics.

Requirements

Must have HSD/GED
A&P license
Ability to pass an MVR background check
4 years’ experience in all phases of commercial transport aircraft
Ability to independently troubleshoot aircraft systems
Excellent knowledge of theory of aircraft construction and systems
Ability to travel on company aircraft
Ability to stoop, bend, manipulate tools in small spaces
Communicate effectively
Work in adverse/outdoor conditions
Wear a respirator/safety protective equipment as indicated
Lift objects weighing up to 75 lbs.
Perform work at heights up to 60 ft.

Nice To Haves

6 years’ experience in all phases of commercial transport aircraft
2 years’ hands-on line maintenance experience on type aircraft operated by ABX or 3 years’ line maintenance experience on comparable commercial transport aircraft
Experience as Line Maintenance Representative
Ability to interpret wiring diagrams
Ability to evaluate structural damage

Responsibilities
