Under guidance and general supervision, this role provides a high level of customer service by functioning as the central communication link between patients, the Medical Center, and the community. The Patient Advocate answers patient and family questions, receives and resolves complaints, assists with patient comfort needs, and provides information regarding their hospital stay. This role also collects and reports data regarding patients/families' hospital stay and staff sensitivity to patients/families. Additionally, it provides coordination of support services and facilities management to ensure a comfortable and well-maintained environment for patients and guests.
