About The Position

This position provides after-hours sexual violence crisis line coverage and in-person, on-call sexual violence advocacy during medical forensic exams in hospital emergency rooms. The role is hybrid and involves on-call overnight, weekend, and holiday hours. Compensation is $19.70–$22.81 per hour, with scheduled on-call pay of $3.25 per hour on weeknights and weekends and $3.50 per hour on holidays. Crisis calls are paid at the base hourly rate, and in-person hospital SANE responses are paid at $30 per hour. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, experience, and/or FTE.

Canvas Health is a nonprofit Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic specializing in serving clients who are on Medicaid. Its mission is to bring hope, healing, and recovery to people's lives. The organization provides integrated mental health and substance use disorder services in clients' homes, communities, and clinics, with coordinated care for people of all ages. It serves people experiencing mental illness, substance use disorders, crisis, unstable housing, and trauma.

Requirements

• Completed 40 hours of state-mandated training through a sexual assault advocacy program and proof of completion.
• Experience in sexual assault advocacy.
• Ability to maintain a clean driving record, a current driver's license, and auto insurance coverage that meets Canvas Health policy requirements.
• Ability to use a personal automobile for business-related travel.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in a human services field, or equivalent training and expertise.
• Experience working with and/or delivering services to diverse populations.
