About The Position

Grand Canyon Education (GCE) is seeking a motivated Admissions Advisor to oversee the student admission process for the College of Nursing and Health Care Professions. This role involves supporting students from their initial inquiry through their first day of class, championing the University mission, and promoting student success and institutional enrollment growth. The position requires a self-motivated individual with strong customer service, sales, or account management skills, who is passionate about education and helping students achieve their goals. The role offers a hybrid work environment, with opportunities for professional development and growth in a supportive, goal-oriented setting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree OR 2 years’ related experience with at least 60 college credits completed.
  • Outstanding time management skills and ability to prioritize competing priorities.
  • Clear communication skills (in-person, written, phone) and strong listening skills.
  • Self-motivated to learn and implement strategies for effectiveness.
  • High emotional intelligence and ability to demonstrate empathy.
  • Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated success in customer service, consultative sales, or account management.
  • Ability to work autonomously or within a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree highly preferred in marketing, education or business administration.
  • Relevant, industry-related professional experience.
  • Experience working with CRM tools.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the student admission process.
  • Provide exceptional counseling to prospective students through various mediums (in-person, phone, email).
  • Champion the University mission, promoting student success and institutional enrollment growth.
  • Manage phone calls, emails, meetings, trainings, and coaching sessions.
  • Work autonomously and efficiently from home or the office.
  • Collaborate with leadership, team members, and partner universities.
  • Support students from the moment they ask for information through their first day of class.
