About The Position

Build effective partnerships based on the needs of ABCToday Schools, students and families to support the Attendance, Behavior, and Course performance of students assigned. Coordinates and collaborates with agency staff and partner schools to ensure consistency with BBBSEMO strategy, commitments, and goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree; Associate's Degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar field; or a minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar field required
  • Experience working with Parents/Caregivers and Youth
  • Experience interviewing, writing assessments and conducting home visits preferred
  • Experience working with a diverse population
  • Knowledge of K-12 school and resource landscape
  • Dedication to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers
  • Strong planning, priority setting, time management and organization skills
  • Ability to relate to all kinds of people inside and outside the organization
  • Ability to manage the creative process of others and bringing the creative ideas of others to market
  • Ability to empower others and structure the work so that it aligns with people’s goals
  • Technology/computer skills needed. Proficient in the following platforms: MS Office Suite (specifically Word, Excel, & Teams); Outlook, & Zoom.
  • Must have car, valid driver's license, and meet state required automobile insurance minimums.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the assigned school to identify and recruit youth to consistently hold a caseload of 35-45 youth served
  • Support enrollment process with youth and PGs
  • Set weekly/monthly/quarterly goals with youth (in partnership with PGs and school staff), document next steps, and follow up
  • Meet with each youth a minimum of once per month, documenting in Matchforce
  • Support check-ins in partnership with colleagues to connect and engage with PG’s during the school year and summer, documenting as needed.
  • Partner with colleagues to support programming as identified (I.e. weekly after school program, supports/celebration efforts, in-school experiences)
  • Work in partnership with staff at each school by attending weekly/monthly/quarterly meetings to ensure success of youth and family
  • Participate in a minimum of 4 network partner meetings at assigned schools and participate in school wide activities
  • Work with youth and families to establish at least 1 connection and belonging goal within the school year.
  • Meet the needs of youth and families by identifying and connecting families to resources.
  • Work with internal and external partners to understand root challenges for youth and families
  • Work back weekly/monthly/quarterly with school staff to understand plans set in place for youth and participate in meetings around those plans
  • Other duties as assigned.
